Come and join ARMA New Jersey with a presentation on Tools of the Trade!

Record management encompasses everything from the creation of a record to its disposal. So how do you ensure that your organization has the right tools available to support good recordkeeping  practices? Once a year training is just not enough. The right things in your toolbox can help employees retain information for use when needed.

This session will focus on tools that raise record management awareness and give your employees the information they need to access and manage business records quickly and easily. They can save time; ensure you have access to the information you need when you need it.  The evening will include a tour of the facility, dinner and beverages.

STEPHEN M. DALINA, M.L.S. | DIRECTOR OF RECORDS MANAGEMENT | RUTGERS UNIVERSITY

Steve Dalina is the Director of Records Management for Rutgers University. He manages the University Records Management Program. He began his career at the New Jersey State Archives before moving on to Rutgers University’s Special Collections and University Archives in 1994. He became the University Records Manager in 1998. Steve then joined the Business Services unit and oversaw the construction and opening of the University Records Center in 2013. He has been teaching records management since 2001.  Steve is also an adjunct Professor teaching the graduate level - Records Management course since 2001.  Steve has served on numerous professional executive boards and associations (MARAC, ARMA – New Jersey Chapter and Northeast Region).
