During this panel we will discuss how developments in technology, surveillance, and privacy in the law impact minorities. Panelists will share the implications of privacy and surveillance on communities of color and the disparate effects of technological advances and automation on black and brown communities, both in the public and private spheres.

The event will begin with a few quick words about LatinX Heritage Month followed by a one-hour panel discussion. After the panel presentation, we encourage attendees to continue the conversation while networking during our Sangria Social. Sangria recipes will be provided.
